C-357-B TRIPLE-DEUCE (IDLE-5500 RPM) Designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys, this manifold has a balanced 180° firing order port runner arrangement. It contains an exhaust gas heat crossover and offers excellent performance potential. #5418/#5419 has machined front oil filler tube pad with boss. #5418 is machined for 3-bolt carburetors. Carb center-to-center: 5-1/2". Use with Performer-Plus camshaft and lifter kit #2103 for low-end torque or Torker-Plus cam/kit #5002 for top-end power. #5418 & #5419 accept Oil Fill Tube and Breather #4803.
The Edelbrock part #1033 Progressive Linkage Kit is designed to smooth throttle response, eliminate flat spots and improve fuel economy. It achieves this by only opening the center carburetor at less than 50% (or 33%) pedal travel thus sharpening the venturi signal and eliminating the bottom end bog found in traditional multiple carburetor setups that open simultaneously. This kit can also be installed in a non-progressive configuration, if so desired, or can progressively operate a dual two-barrel carburetor configuration.
